Time to celebrate you
Planning a wedding can be (very) overwhelming, we totally get it!
Let us try and alleviate some of the stress by keeping things simple, straightforward and most importantly fun. Our approach to wedding photography is candid and observational. Whilst we absolutely adore getting creative with your bridal portraits we place a lot, like a lot a lot, of value on capturing the raw and real moments of your day. The happy tears, belly laughs and loving embraces- all the good stuff!
Our photo's are photo's that you don't just see, but feel. We hope that each time you look through your album you can smile and think to yourself "Yeah, that really was a f***ing great day"
Below we've created a summary of a typical 8 hour wedding package to help you visualise what type of photos you might expect to see from each part of the day.
That being said we understand that every wedding, and every couple, is unique. Whether you're after full-day coverage, or just a few hours capturing the moments that matter most, we invite you to get in touch for an obligation-free consultation, and together we can design your perfect wedding photography package.
"It is as much about the journey as it is about the destination!"
Spending some time with the bride and groom before the ceremony allows us to capture every bit of excitement and emotion, as well as all the tiny details.
This may include photos of the wedding dress, flowers, hair and makeup, jewellery, shoes, ties, cufflinks and glasses going clink!
We recommend 30 minutes to 1 hour, per person for preparation photos.
under the arbour and beyond!
The ceremony is candid photography heaven, everywhere you can point a camera there’s smiles, laughter or happy tears.
After the formalities we’ll hang back and capture all the hugs and kisses, as your friends and family will want to congratulate you! This is usually the optimal time to get formal photos with family and friends, as well as a big group shot of all the guests.
Every ceremony varies in duration but usually we would allow 1 hour for both the ceremony and the family photos. We usually like to arrive at least 15 minutes before the guests, allowing us to get photos of the set-up, decor and greetings as your family and friends arrive.
the bridal PHOTOshoot Is a little escape from the commotion of the day
Following the ceremony we like to whisk couples and their bridal party away from the crowd to take some beautiful photos that you can cherish forever and ever. It's also an opportunity to spend some quiet time together as a newly married couple and have some fun getting creative with us.
We suggest a minimum of 1 hour for bridal portraits, however it’s not uncommon to spend up to 2 hours if you’d like to travel to multiple locations.
